The Junkyard will be closing at the end of this year. It’s not without a degree of sadness that I announce this, but it can no longer be delayed.
The Junkyard was started when our favorite 24/7 2fort All Talk community shuttered. I don’t think any of us expected it to last two years and here we are almost 8 later. The ever eclectic/awesome group of people were well worth the effort. From those who helped start the server, those that are long gone from our community, to the new people that helped keep it going over the years, it’s been a memorable experience and would do it again.
I just wanted to take this opportunity thank everyone who has participated in our community for during the last 8 years. To those who have donated their time, and money to keeping the server up and running … I can’t adequately express my gratitude with words, but it was and is greatly appreciated.
So thank you everyone. Thank you for all the: games, uber charges, jarate dousings, sentry guns, dispensers, flag captures, cart pushes,spy sharking,melee battles, crit fists, sandvich parties, steak outs, heists, late night zombie survival, the laughs and conversations.
